In addition to her talents with animals, Cindy also worked as a therapist at the University of Arizona for 27 years helping people end drug addiction. Her ability to work with both animals and people is a unique and rare talent. Cindy is passionate about helping people and animals understand each other better.
Shannon is a Tucson native and has been training dogs for more than 10 years. She grew up in a “Dr. Dolittle” household, surrounded by every type animal you can imagine. This has allowed her to develop deep connection and intuitive understanding of all animals. She learned from the best, since both of her parents were dog trainers. Self proclaimed “dog person”, Shannon also serves as social media and marketing manager for The Wolf Whisperer.

The emotional stability of your dog is our number one priority! We stay up-to-date on all the most modern training techniques. We do not use shock devices, spray collars, electric fences or condone the use of any painful training devices. We believe that your dog should follow your commands out of a desire to please you, not because they’re forced to. We don’t discriminate based on breed!
Throughout the years we have worked with every type of behavior problem. We have rehabilitated severely abused dogs; from puppies to 21 year-olds. (And yes, you can teach an old dog new tricks!) Our passion is helping Tucson dogs lead happy and emotionally healthy lives with a stable forever-home. We also aim to help end the countless and needless deaths that occur every year due to poor socialization.
“Until one has loved an animal, a part of one’s soul remains unawakened.”- Anatole France
